Boys Volleyball Clinic at YMCA

DIGS will expand its instructional programs to include a boys volleyball clinic with the goal of fielding additional boys teams for the 2011 club season.

Positioned for players ages 8 to 14, the clinic is designed for beginners and experienced younger players who are seeking a strong volleyball fundamentals program that is fun and tailored to their needs.

The program will run from 3 to 5 p.m. Sundays for seven sessions, beginning Jan. 10 and ending Feb. 21. It will be held at the Wyckoff Family YMCA, 691 Wyckoff Ave.

Interested families should contact the club at Boysvolleyball@DIGSVolleyball.com to hold a spot or to obtain more information. Provide the player's name, age, hometown, T-shirt size, jacket size and level of ability.  Walk-ins will be permitted on Jan. 17.

Players are asked to arrive for the clinic at 2:45 p.m. on the first session day. Parents will receive a short orientation on the program while the boys participate in training. During the parent meeting, DIGS board members will discuss the program and answer questions.

A full payment of $200 is required on the first day of attendance. This program fee covers all training, and includes a DIGS club jacket and T-shirt.
