Bergen County Executive Dennis McNerney will hold a free snow-tubing day for Bergen County children at Campgaw Ski Area in Mahwah on March 4 to highlight some of the winter opportunities available to residents through the Bergen County Parks Department.
Each session of the free tubing will be open to the first 125 Bergen County residents younger than 18 who sign up through the county's Web site. The tubing will be conducted during two sessions:
- 4 to 6 p.m. (reserved for children 12 and younger)
- 6 to 8 p.m. (reserved for children 13 to 17)

Registrants must bring with them a signed release (parent or guardian signature required) in order to take part in the event. The releases can be accessed and printed from: http://www.co.bergen.nj.us/bcresources/Images/Tubingrelease.pdf.
Additionally, riders are required to be at least 42 inches tall and weigh less than 300 pounds.
