Fifteen Bergen County families received food to cook their Thanksgiving meals.
FRANKLIN LAKES, NJ – Fifteen Bergen County families received food to cook their Thanksgiving meals this year thanks to a collection drive run by the Franklin Lakes Chamber of Commerce.
The organization donated care packages filled with canned goods, baking goods and toiletries as part of its second annual food drive. Families also received a turkey, which were donated by ShopRite of Wyckoff.
The packages were prepared by chamber members and the Center for Food Action in Mahwah, which is also where families picked up their donations.
