Friday: BIG musical

1. Catch the IHHS Spring production, BIG, live at 7 p.m. tonight. 

2. Spring sports are scheduled for this afternoon with Ramapo boys tennis playing Fair Lawn, IHHS baseball at River Dell, and Ramapo Girls Lacrosse playing Vernon. Games may be cancelled due to snow. 

3. The deadline for teacher nominations for the Governor's award at the high schools is today. K-8 district nominations for teacher of the year are due next Friday. 

4. Twice weekly garbage collection begins today. See the link for yard waste schedules, which begin next week. 

5. Monday is the deadline for the teen poetry contest for Franklin Lakes students in grades 6 to 12. Entries of an original poem or song, no longer than 250 words, can be submitted at the Franklin Lakes Public Library or sent directly to kate_thelibrarian@yahoo.com.
