Local Musical Legend Celebrates Birthday With Show at Endless Vine

Birthday celebrations take on a new meaning after a cancer diagnosis. Franklin Lakes resident David J. Keyes celebrated his 56th birthday in style Friday night. The international music legend played a show with his wife, Marilyn, and many friends at the Endless Vine. 

Despite being diagnosed with cancer in 2007 and steadily undergoing biweekly chemo treatments, the Bluesfolk singer and guitarist doesn't show signs of slowing down. Surrounded by friends, fans and his many nurses from Valley's Luklow Pavilion, the legend played a three set show, complete with birthday cake for all in attendance.
