Monday: Traffic Interruption on Goffle Road

Town Hall reopening; Lions sponsor Christmas tree sale

1. Avoid Goffle Road if you can.

The busy thoroughfare will see police from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. to allow PSE&G to complete transmission line repair work.

If work demands it, Goffle will be closed southbound at Wyckoff Avenue after 4 p.m., and motorists will be routed through detours.

The municipal building will reopen at 9 a.m. after being closed Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday.

3. The Lions Club sponsors its.

Head over to the lot across from Boulder Run this evening to pick up your tree and help the Lions Club at the same time. The annual sale supports the club's charitable initiatives.

4. The Ramapo High School tennis team, cross country and gymnastics squads will hold their award dinner at 6 p.m. at the , 179 Godwin Ave.

5.   Sal Lauretta for Men, a clothing store in Midland Park for men and boys, continues a men's clothing drive called "The Shirt Off Your Back" to benefit patrons of Eva's Village.

Customers and area residents are asked to bring in new or gently used men's dress or sport shirts. In addition to the shirts that are collected, the store will donate a portion of the sales of any custom-tailored shirt ordered. However, anyone may come to Sal Lauretta for Men with a clothing donation; no purchase is necessary.

Eva's Village is a nonprofit social service organization located in Paterson.
