BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Two new Chick-fil-A restaurants are opening in North Jersey next week, including one in Bergen County, the company said.

Chick-fil-A Paramus will be open for dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out and third-party delivery from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, said a company spokesperson. The restaurant will operate drive-thru only from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

Local owner Ray Cowan already owns the nearby Chick-fil-A in Ramsey.

"Ray Cowan’s growth within Chick-fil-A is the perfect embodiment of building a career from the ground up," the company said in a release. "He joined the Company more than 20 years ago as a team member while in high school and continued to work at the restaurant throughout college. In 2019 he was selected as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Ramsey in nearby Ramsey, New Jersey – which he will continue to operate in addition to the new restaurant."

A Chick-fil-A will also open that day in Parsippany.

The company said, "Both restaurants will plan to participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table program, an initiative that redirects surplus food from the restaurant to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks and nonprofits in need. In celebration of the openings, Chick-fil-A, Inc. has donated a combined $50,000 to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts of Community Foodbank of New Jersey, a Feeding America partner."
