One Stop & Shop Supermarket Slated To Close In Bergen County
Stop & Shop says it will close 10 stores in New Jersey, including one in Bergen County.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Stop & Shop has announced that it will close 10 stores in New Jersey by the end of 2024, including one in a commercial neighborhood in Bergen County.
The company intends to close 32 stores in the Northeast in total, as part of the chain's strategy to "position the company for growth," according to a release.
"Stop & Shop has evaluated its overall store portfolio and made the difficult decision to close underperforming stores to create a healthy base for the future growth of our brand," Stop & Shop President Gordon Reid said.

The Stop & Shop at 625 Paterson Ave., Carlstadt is on the list of those slated to close in the Garden State.
The store is conveniently located, with a wide parking lot. It's near Industrial Road and several shops and a warehouse.
