'Pilates With Jenn' Studio Owner In Wyckoff Dies At 53

WYCKOFF, NJ — Jennifer Bozian, the sole proprietor of a Wyckoff pilates studio, has died at age 53 after a "courageous battle with cancer," according to her obit.

Bozian, owner of Pilates With Jenn at 637 Wyckoff Avenue, passed away Thursday, according to sources.

"Professionals and novices alike enjoy(ed) breaking a sweat at Pilates With Jenn," a Groupon page said of Bozian's studio, which offered private classes that incorporate bodily awareness, proper postural support and athletic ability.

"This is your time designed for you and your needs," her studio's Facebook page said of its one-on-one instruction customized to clients' needs.

Born in Glen Ridge, Bozian was a second-generation pilates student with more than 1,000 hours of training, according to sources. She received her certification from a master mentor program run by Lolita San Miguel, a direct student of the fitness pioneer himself — Joseph Pilates, sources said.

As someone who stayed active throughout adulthood, Bozian was especially focused on helping other cancer patients through her pilates practice, "emphasizing the mind-body connection," her obit continued.

Bozian is survived by her husband, Alan Bozian, as well as her son Christopher Mann, daughter Kayla Mann, stepdaughters Emily and Hannah, and stepson Peter.
