Ramapo Plans Open House Tonight

Borst Landscape & Design continues clothing drive

1. Eighth-graders faced with that tough choice—Ramapo or Indian Hills?—are invited to an open house tonight at Ramapo High School.

The forum is planned for 7 p.m. at the Franklin Lakes school and follows an open house earlier this month at the Oakland school.

2. Borst Landscape & Design, owned by Shade Tree Chairman Mark Borst, continues its winter clothing drive.

Residents are urged to donate items at the business' headquarters at 260 W. Crescent Ave., Allendale.

3. The Lady Raiders will battle for the overall Group 3 tennis title at 11 a.m. in Mercer County Park.

The girls are gunning for the overall title after a 3-2 victory Monday over Tenafly for the sectional championship.

4. Whole Foods in Ridgewood (44 Godwin Ave.) will welcome health coaches at 6 p.m. for a talk on how to eat until satisfied while still losing weight.

The free lecture is open to all.

5. Temple Emanuel in Franklin Lakes will hold a prayer discussion at 8 p.m.

The free discussion will discuss the meaning of prayer, led by Rabbi Joshua Cohen. The temple is located at 558 High Mountain Road; for more information call 201-560-0200.
