Scholarship Fundraiser To Honor Memory Of Wyckoff Dad
A fundraiser to raise money to go to scholarships for graduating seniors at Ramapo and Indian Hills High Schools will honor a Wyckoff dad.
WYCKOFF, NJ — A fundraiser to honor the memory of a man whose loved ones said he was "very committed to Wyckoff and the education of our children" will raise money that will go to scholarships paid to graduating seniors at Ramapo and Indian Hills High Schools.
Force Fox, a local scholarship foundation, was established after the passing of Christopher Fox on Oct. 1, 2020, and, on the second anniversary of his passing this year, the nonprofit will celebrate his life with its largest fundraiser yet, Fox's wife Cheryl said on Facebook.
Chris Fox, of Wyckoff, died at age 46 after a 15-month battle with appendiceal cancer, his obituary published by Vander Plaat Funeral Home said. He was survived by his wife and two children, who will soon attend and graduate from the two local high schools, the foundation said on its website.

In an effort to honor Chris Fox's life, the foundation, the website said, awards scholarships to high school seniors who act with the same kindness as he did. In this way, he is able to give back to the community for support he and his family received during his fight with cancer.
"Chris was very proud of our schools and outside, those classroom doors, the enriching community they provided for his children," the foundation said. His obit, moreover, said he "lived and felt this world passionately, and that passion will remain a part of all who knew him."

"We would appreciate it if you would be able to join," Cheryl Fox said in a Facebook post.
