Services have been set for Wyckoff Committeeman Thomas Madigan, who died last week.
WYCKOFF, NJ — Services have been set for Wyckoff Committeeman and former Mayor Thomas J. Madigan, who died Saturday at 71.
Madigan was re-elected to the Township Committee last year. He was first sworn in to the Committee 15 years ago, in October 2010, and had served as mayor in 2023.
Madigan had five children and nine grandchildren, and was predeceased by daughters Bitsy and Alicia. He had recently written a social media post mourning Bitsy, who died in an accident when she was 10.

"Tom’s leadership, kindness, and devotion to the residents of Wyckoff leave a lasting legacy that will not be forgotten," the town wrote in a statement this week. "The Township Committee continues to extend its heartfelt condolences to the Madigan family and asks that they remain in everyone’s thoughts and prayers."
