Wyckoff, like many of its neighbors, may not sponsor its own holiday celebration this weekend, but that doesn't mean there aren't some options for those looking to ring in Independence Day.

Ridgewood

The village will celebrate the 100th annual Fourth of July celebration with a flag-raising, parade, entertainment and fireworks on Monday.
The flag-raising will be at 9 a.m. at Wilsey Square, just off the Ridgewood train station. The parade begins at 10 a.m., rain or shine, at North Monroe Street and Godwin Avenue; it continues down Godwin, to North Broad Street, to East Ridgewood Avenue, to North Maple Avenue, to Linwood Avenue, ending just past Graydon pool.

The evening festivities start at 6:30 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Field with music and dancing before the fireworks display. Tickets are required for admittance to Veterans Field, costing $5 in advance or $10 at the gate for adults; children are admitted for $5, and kids younger than 5 are free.

In the event of rain, the fireworks will take place Tuesday evening.
Ramsey
Ramsey will present "Red, White and Blues at 3 p.m. Sunday at Finch Park, 194 Church St. The free event will feature the music of Reckon So, The Pine Leaf Boys, the Homemade Jamz Blues Band and other local acts. Vendors will provide food.
Fireworks follow at dusk. In the event of rain, fireworks will be held Monday evening.
Paramus
Paramus will sponsor a parade at 9 a.m. Monday.
The parade will begin at Farview Avenue and Century Road, continuing up Farview to Memorial School on Midland Avenue.
A ceremony will be held after the parade. However, Paramus has canceled its annual fireworks celebration.
Allendale
Allendale's celebration starts at 7 a.m. Sunday with a flag-raising at Memorial Park, with a series of recreational activities and competitions to follow all-day at Recreation Park.
Evening festivities begin with a performance at 7:30 p.m. by the Saddle River Valley Concert Band at Crestwood Lake. Fireworks follow at 9 p.m., although the celebration is by ticket only, open to Allendale residents and guests.
Oradell
Oradell will sponsor a parade at 9 a.m. Sunday, beginning on Oradell Avenue and ending at Memorial Field on Prospect Avenue. Ceremonies follow, including music and recreational activities for kids.
