Winter Storm Watch For Thursday Night

Just when you thought it was spring, more snow is in the forecast.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Thursday night into Friday morning. The forecast calls for heavy snow and four to eight inches of accumulation. 

On the bright side, the weekend is supposed to bring warmer weather, which should hopefully melt all of the snow. 

Here's a look at the next few days, as predicted by the National Weather Service:

Thursday: A slight chance of snow before 8am, then rain likely. Cloudy, with a high near 43. East wind between 3 and 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Little or no snow accumulation expected. 

Thursday Night: Rain before 2am, then snow. Low around 31. Northeast wind around 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible. 

Friday: Snow before 10am, then rain and snow between 10am and 2pm, then a chance of rain after 2pm. High near 43. North wind between 8 and 17 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible. 

Friday Night: A chance of rain, mainly before 8pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 30. West wind between 8 and 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 46. 

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 31. 

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 51.
