Wyckoff Fireworks Show Returns This Month

Thanks to donations from ShopRite and Lakeland Bank, the Fire Department's annual fireworks display is back.

WYCKOFF, NJ — The fireworks are back in Wyckoff.

Thanks to the generosity of ShopRitte and Lakeland Bank, the township's annual fireworks display will return Sept. 28, officials said.

The fireworks display will be at Memorial Field, which will open at 5 p.m. The fireworks display will be at 8 p.m. Food will be sold and there will be live entertainment before the fireworks.

Township Committeeman Timothy Shanley is chairing a committee that is planning the event.

Proceeds from food sales and donations collected will be given to the Fire Department, Ambulance Corps, and Police Department.

The event has been brought back after the Wyckoff Volunteer Fire Department cancelled it in April. It operated at a loss the last few years due to people watching from outside of Memorial Field. Local officials.
