Wyckoff Man Accused Of Shoplifting From Glen Rock Store: Police
David Baumeister, 48, was arrested after police caught him walking in Ridgewood with a bottle of vodka he stole from a Glen Rock store: PD.
WYCKOFF, NJ — A township man was charged with shoplifting after police found him walking in Ridgewood with a bottle of vodka he stole from a Glen Rock store, police said.
Glen Rock police officers went to Beekman Wines & Liquors on Rock Road shortly before 11 a.m. July 22 after getting a report that a man shoplifted a bottle of vodka from the store, said Chief Dean Ackermann.
Police put a notice out on the radio with the man's description and a Ridgewood police officer found him on Hudson Street with the vodka, Ackermann said.

Glen Rock police Officer Matt Stanislao identified the man as David Baumeister, 48, based on video surveillance images from the store, the chief said.
Baumeister was arrested, charged, and released pending an appearance in Glen Rock Municipal Court.

Baumeister was also caught stealing from a Wyckoff store June 22. He was also arrested twice in January for shoplifting.
