Wyckoff PD Arrest 13-Year-Old Boy in Connection with Vandalism at Eisenhower School

The damage to the school was estimated to be $7,000, according to police.

Wyckoff police have arrested a 13-year-old Wyckoff boy in connection to the “extensive damage through vandalism” at Eisenhower School on Jan. 5.

As part of an investigation working with video surveillance, police arrested and charged the13-year-old boy with criminal mischief after “swipe card access control readers were pried from six doors, 93 window screens were torn, a door handle was destroyed and supports for a memorial tree were cut” from the school on Calvin Court, Wyckoff Police Chief Benjamin C. Fox said.

The damage to the school was estimated to be $7,000, according to police.

The boy was released to his parents and the complaint was filed with Bergen County Juvenile Court.
