WYCKOFF, NJ — Summer is almost over for local students. The first day of school in Wyckoff, as of now, is Sept. 5, with a short kindergarten orientation the day before. (Always check with the district for updates.)
Elementary school students attend the Wyckoff schools through eighth grade. For high school, they head to Ramapo or Indian Hills. As of now, the high schools have the same opening date. (See the Ramapo-Indian Hills school calendar here.)

Sept. 6: Minimum day.
Oct. 3: Rosh Hashana, school closed.
Oct. 14: Columbus Day/Professional development, minimum day for students.
Nov. 7-8: Schools closed, teachers' convention.
Nov. 11: School closed for students, conferences.
Nov. 18: Minimum day for students, conferences.
Nov. 19: Delayed opening for prek-8.
Nov. 27: Minimum day.
Nov. 28-29: Thanksgiving, schools closed.
Dec. 23: Minimum day before winter break.
Dec. 24-Jan. 1: Schools closed.
Jan. 2, 2025: Schools reopen.
