Wyckoff Schools To Open With 'Minimum Days': See Hours, Days Off In 2024

WYCKOFF, NJ — Students return to the Wyckoff public schools this Thursday, Sept. 5, 2024. For elementary school students, the first two days are "minimum days" that end at different times for different grades, but all by 1 (check the times here).

Elementary school students attend the Wyckoff schools through eighth grade. For high school, they head to Ramapo or Indian Hills. As of now, the high schools have the same opening date. (See the Ramapo-Indian Hills school calendar here.)

Sept. 5, Thursday: First day of school. (Minimum day.)

Sept. 6: Minimum day.

Oct. 3: Rosh Hashana, school closed.

Oct. 14: Columbus Day/Professional development, minimum day for students.

Nov. 7-8: Schools closed, teachers' union convention.

Nov. 11: School closed for students, conferences.

Nov. 18: Minimum day for students, conferences.

Nov. 19: Delayed opening for prek-8.

Nov. 27: Minimum day.

Nov. 28-29: Thanksgiving, schools closed.

Dec. 23: Minimum day before winter break.

Dec. 24-Jan. 1: Schools closed.

Jan. 2, 2025: Schools reopen.
