"I really just want people to feel," Haritgan said on a fundraising campaign he created to help fund the album's creation. "I want them to sit down, close their eyes and understand the world and themselves in a new way when they're done listening to this album. I want it to create some peace for a lot of people."

Hartigan had an up-and-down run on "The Voice." He was originally chosen by Kelly Clarkson, but lost in a knockout episode. Blake Shelton stole him as he walked off the stage. Shelton then chose singer Wilkes over Hartigan in the next episode, but Clarkson saved him, and he performed the next week, but got knocked off the show.
