- The Albuquerque Police Department is currently investigating a homicide shooting that occurred at the Copper Ridge Apartments. The shooting occurred after a physical fight on Tramway Boulevard NE on Sunday around 6:25 a.m. The identity of the victim has not been released. (KRQE News 13)
- Another Muslim man has been fatally shot in Albuquerque. The Albuquerque Police Department believes that the shooting of Naeem Hussain on Saturday morning is connected to the three previous Muslim community shootings that occurred recently. Hussain's shooting occurred outside Lutheran Family Services in the Truman and Grand area. (KOB 4)
- Supporters of the ABQ Biopark's Heritage Farm spoke at the most recent Albuquerque City Council meeting in defense of the facility's animals. Councilor Tammy Fiebelkorn publicly asked the City of Albuquerque to conduct an independent investigation into the facility after animal conditions were questioned. Supporters of the facility argue that the farm is an important community resource. (Albuquerque Journal)
