  1. The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating following a fatal shooting on Third Street Southwest Thursday. The incident occurred at around 10:24 a.m. and resulted in three victims being shot during an exchange of gunfire. All three people were transported to the hospital and one person died from the injuries sustained during the incident. (KOAT New Mexico)
  2. A doctor and a nurse from Albuquerque recently helped save the life of a man suffering a heart attack on a Southwest flight. Dr. Mark Epstein and nurse Gabrielle Pulido were two of six total medical professionals who helped treat the patient on the flight out of Austin, Texas. The man who experienced the heart attack is expected to make a full recovery. (KOB 4)
  3. An Albuquerque church has raised thousands of dollars to help grant Make-a-Wish wishes before the new year. Legacy Church raised $120,000 for the organization, making it the largest-ever Make-a-Wish donation from a church in the United States. The funds will be used to grant a total of 12 wishes and were raised in just eight days. (KRQE News 13)
