- Albuquerque police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a suspect in a Nov. 27 stabbing. The incident occurred near Central Avenue and Laguna Drive and resulted in a victim being stabbed multiple times following an altercation. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Albuquerque Police at (505) 768-2566 or Crime Stoppers at (505) 843-7867. (KRQE News 13)
- A local CVS Health store manager and nonprofit founder is launching a drive to collect coats for members of Albuquerque’s homeless community. The drive will run through Dec. 31. Drop-off bins for coats have been set up at CVS pharmacy locations throughout the Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and Española areas. Donors will receive $5 worth of CVS Extra Bucks for each coat donated. (Albuquerque Journal)
- American Airlines will add 24 new direct flights between Albuquerque and Phoenix next year during the six days surrounding the 2023 Super Bowl. The limited-time change will run from Feb. 9 through Feb. 14, increasing the total daily flights between Albuquerque and Phoenix from four to six. The airline says the change is due to an anticipated hike in traffic, but it does not expect the added flights to cause travel delays. (KOB 4)
