  1. The Albuquerque Police Department is ending the year with a 94 percent clearance rate of solved or closed cases for 2022. The last several years saw the department's cleared case rate at just over 50 percent. In total, the department solved or closed 119 cases, (KOAT New Mexico)
  2. Local comedian Zach Abeyta was named Albuquerque's Best Comedian in 2022. Abeyta has been touring and headlining all over the county after recovering from being shot in April. His next show will be on Jan. 20 at Comedy Club Downtown. (KRQE News 13)
  3. A national nonprofit ranked Albuquerque 34th out of the 100 largest U.S. cities for having the best number and quality of parks. The city did the best in the rankings with factors like the percentage of city dedicated to parks and the accessibility of park space for low-income neighborhoods. (KRQE News 13)
