Mobile Health Van to Provide Free Medical Care This Weekend
North Shore-LIJ sending mobile medical van to help Hurricane Sandy survivors.

North Shore-LIJ Health System's "Project Coastal Care" mobile health van will be coming to Babylon Village this weekend to provide free medical care to Hurricane Sandy survivors.
The mobile medical unit will be located at the Fred Shores Beach Club at the very end of Little East Neck Road South on Sat., April 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The health van has at least one doctor and other medical professionals to help provide health care where ever it is sent. The health care system said its van have already help treat 1,200 people from its mobile medical staff. The vans are expected to continue helping treat people through August of this year.
The mobile medical van provides free of charge medical care and patients are not asked for proof of insurance.
The van will be back in Babylon Village the next weekend as well on Sat., April 27 behind the First Presbyterian Church on East Main Street from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Those seeking help throughout the month can also find the van on Mondays in Lindenhurst at "Camp Bulldog" on Shore Park Road from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
