BAY SHORE, NY — A Bay Shore resident faces charges in a shooting Thursday that seriously injured a man on Hemlock Drive near Manatuck Boulevard.
Suffolk County Police arrested Nireair Jefferson Saturday following an investigation by Third Squad detectives. Jefferson, 36, was charged with first degree assault and second degree criminal possession of a weapon.
He was scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip.
