Bed-Stuy Man Fatally Shot In Williamsburg, Cops Say

BROOKLYN, NY — A Bed-Stuy man was found fatally shot in Williamsburg on Thursday evening, according to police.

Emergency responders found Augustin Santiago, 34, with a gunshot wound to the chest near Broadway and Marcy Avenue just before 6 p.m., according to police.

Santiago, who lived on Myrtle Avenue, was taken to Woodhull Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.

There were no arrests as of Friday morning.
