Bellmore Teen Selected to Attend Golf Leadership Academy

Jacob Cutler of Bellmore was selected to attend the First Tee Life Skills and Leadership Academy on Long Island. The event is sponsored by The First Tee of Metropolitan New York (TFTMNY),  Nassau County and Hofstra University.

Cutler, who participates with The First Tee of Nassau County, is one of three participants from the TFTMNY Chapter to be selected to attend the program.

The academy, which starts in Eisenhower Park on Thursday, will include golfing, a series of non-golf outings and exposure to life on a college campus at Hofstra University.

The First Tee is a youth organization that introduces the the game of golf and its values to young people. It is designed to promote character and leadership development by combining golf with life-skill activities and career exploration.
