St. Mark the Evangelist Episcopal Church in North Bellmore will celebrate the last day of the Sunday School year on June 6 at 10 a.m. with a special Hawaiian Mass (i.e., the Holy Eucharist). This will be in keeping with the theme of "Aloha to Spring, Aloha to Summer."
The public is cordially invited to attend the Hawaiian mass and even encouraged to get into the spirit of things by coming dressed in Hawaiian shirts and flip flops. After the service, adults and Sunday School children will gather together for a picnic lunch, complete with Hawaiian punch and ice cream. Please RSVP if you plan on attending.
