
North Bellmore School District residents voted to approve the school district’s $53.3 million proposed budget by a margin of 1,214-543.
The budget includes a 1.94 percent increase in spending over the current year and carries a 1.75 percent tax levy increase.
Incumbent Nina Lanci and Melissa Cmar-Grote were elected to the Board of Education after running unopposed.
