North Bellmore Library Starts Program For Homebound Patrons

The library has delivered materials to members sporadically in recent years, but will now offer more outreach services.

The North Bellmore Public Library has started a program for homebound patrons.

The facility is offering its homebound services to patrons who are unable to come to the library to borrow materials due to physical and other limitations.

"We have delivered materials to homebound patrons sporadically in
recent years," Tom Bazzicalupo, director of the library said. "We have been trying to broaden our Outreach Services to benefit more patrons and to make our materials available to all residents of North Bellmore."

For more information on Outreach Services, call the North Bellmore Public Library at (516) 785-6260 and ask for Mrs. Gewirtz at Ext. 315 or  Mrs. Lettieri at Ext. 313.
