Pizzeli's Pizza Reopens After Fire
The fire was believed to have started in an oil canister in back of the restaurant, fire officials said.
Pizzeli's Pizza reopened on Wednesday after it was closed for more than a month due to a fire in May. Fire officials said that the blaze was believed to have started in an oil canister behind the eatery.
On Wednesday afternoon, owner Ralph Monsolino watched as patrons socialized and devoured pizza.
"This feels great," he said. "Everything in here is new. We redid our pizza station and everything."
Monsolino said that he is happy that Pizzeli's is back in business and so are his customers.
"The best thing is that we are able to serve the community again," he said. "We had so many people ask us when we were going to reopen."
