1 Dead, Another Injured In Brooklyn Shooting, Cops Say

FLATBUSH, NY — A 35-year-old was fatally shot and another injured in Flatbush Tuesday night, police said.

Kelton McKenna, 35, of Flatbush, was fatally shot in the torso about 7:35 p.m. Tuesday on Cortelyou Road near Rogers Avenue — just a few blocks from the man's home, according to the NYPD.

Another man, age 33, was also shot in the torso and rushed to an area hospital in stable condition. Both men were taken to the hospital by private means, and McKenna was later pronounced dead.

Police had not made any arrests Wednesday but continued to investigate.
