1-YO Killed In Brooklyn Apartment: NYPD
A young child was found unconscious with broken bones in a Crown Heights apartment, according to police and reports.

CROWN HEIGHTS, NY — A 1-year-old's death in a Crown Heights apartment was being investigated as a homicide, police said Thursday.
The small girl was found unconscious with significant injuries about 6:45 p.m. Friday at an apartment on St Marks Avenue between New York and Nostrand avenues, according to the NYPD.
The toddler, in her parents' care at the time, had broken thigh bones and head trauma, according to the New York Daily News.

She was rushed to an area hospital, where she was pronounced dead days later, police said.
The police had made no arrests Thursday — but they determined they needed to investigate.
