16 People Injured In Brooklyn Apartment Fire: FDNY
An adult and two children were transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

BROOKLYN, NY — Sixteen people, including six firefighters, were injured in a fire at a Brooklyn apartment building Wednesday morning.
The fire started on the first-floor of a seven-story building at 65 Bay 19th Street just after 6 a.m., the FDNY said.
One hundred and six firefighters and 25 EMS personnel responded to the fire on Wednesday.

The blaze was put under control at 7:59 a.m.

The six firefighters and seven residents suffered minor injuries, the FDNY said.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
