2 People Punched In Unrelated BK Subway Stations, Cops Say
A 29-year-old was punched multiple times and hit his head on a Q train leaving the Church Avenue station.

BROOKLYN, NY — Two people were recently punched at Brooklyn subway stations — sending one to the hospital with a brain bleed, police said.
On Tuesday, a 29-year-old was punched in the face multiple times while waiting for a Q train about 11:10 p.m. at the Church Avenue station, according to the NYPD.
The blow of the punches caused the young man to hit his head on the Q train as it was pulling out of the station, police said. He was taken to an area hospital in stable condition but needed treatment for a brain bleed, police said.

A week before on Oct. 24, a 17-year-old was punched in the face by a stranger at the Avenue P subway station on McDonald Avenue, police said.
The teenager was taken to the hospital with swelling and bruising on his face.

On Wednesday, a pregnant 25-year-old was hospitalized after she was kicked in the stomach on a Queens subway, police said.
Discussions of similar attacks have become common on social media in recent months as many women have shared stories of being randomly punched in public.
On Oct. 19, a woman was punched in a Midtown subway station during an anti-semitic attack. And about a month before, a 24-year-old woman was hospitalized after being punched in the face and knocked to the ground in a Harlem subway station.
