2 People Shot On Brooklyn Street This Weekend, Police Say
As of Monday morning, police confirmed that a person of interest in the double shooting is now in custody.

BROOKLYN, NY — Two people were shot early Sunday morning in Williamsburg, police said.
The double shooting occurred shortly before 5 a.m. near 43 Montrose Avenue, on the corner of Lorimer Street, an NYPD spokesperson said.
Video obtained by News 12 Brooklyn captures an ambulance arriving as officers assist two victims—one lying on the pavement and the other standing nearby awaiting medical attention.

Police reported that a 28-year-old man was shot in the leg and taken to Woodhull Hospital, while a 26-year-old man suffered a graze wound and was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. Both remain in stable condition as of Monday.
Authorities confirm that persons of interest are in custody, but no further details have been released.
