2 Suspects Sought For Deadly NYC Robbery: NYPD
Two men allegedly attacked Michael Shelonchik, 53, in the back of a livery cab.

BROOKLYN, NY — Police are searching for two suspects in connection to a deadly robbery where a 53-year-old man died after he was attacked in the back of a livery cab in Brooklyn on Tuesday.
The NYPD released surveillance images of the suspects on Wednesday.
Both men can be seen wearing a black hoodie with a black mask.

Michael Shelonchik was found unresponsive in the back of the vehicle around 6:15 p.m. at the intersection of West 5th Street and Neptune Avenue in Coney Island, Patch previously reported.
Police believe Shelonchik was in the cab when two men opened a door and began assaulting him. They forcibly removed a chain from his neck

Shelonchik was transported to Maimonides Medical Center, where he later died.
According to multiple media reports, the victim may have suffered a medical episode after the incident.
No arrests have been made as of Thursday morning.
The city's medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
It is unclear at this time whether Shelonchik knew his attackers.
