3 Injured In Bushwick Fire: FDNY
One family was in need of emergency support after a fire burned through their Brooklyn home Thursday.

BUSHWICK, NY — A family was displaced from their Brooklyn home Thursday after a fire broke out, injuring three people, authorities said.
The fire burned about 4:10 a.m. Thursday at a building on Gates Avenue between Knickerbocker and Irving avenues, according to the FDNY.
Three people were minorly injured but not transported to the hospital, authorities said.

Contained to the first floor of a three-story building, the flames were under control by 4:40 a.m., authorities said.
But the fire was still devastating enough to displace a family — the American Red Cross said it provided emergency housing and financial support to a family at the Gates Avenue building.
