4-Year-Old Girl Hit By School Bus In NYC, Critically Injured: NYPD
A 4-year-old girl is clinging to life after being hit by a school bus in Midwood just before 4 p.m. Monday, police said.

BROOKLYN, NY — A 4-year-old girl was seriously injured Monday afternoon in Brooklyn after being hit by a school bus, police said.
The little girl was walking on East 2nd Street between Avenues I and J in Midwood when she was struck at approximately 3:56 p.m. near the intersection of East 2nd Street and Avenue J, according to the NYPD.
According to authorities, the yellow school bus caused critical injuries. Emergency responders quickly arrived on the scene and rushed her to Maimonides Hospital.

Police added that the bus driver remained at the scene, and no arrests have been made as no criminality is suspected in the collision, an NYPD official said.
It was not immediately clear whether any other kids were on board the bus at the time of the crash.
