5 Injured, 2 Critical After Brooklyn Apartment Fire: FDNY
The blaze started on the second floor of the building in Crown Heights.

BROOKLYN, NY — A fire at an apartment building in Brooklyn injured five people, leaving two in critical condition early Thursday morning.
The fire broke out at 1005 Eastern Pkwy in Crown Heights around 1:35 a.m., according to the FDNY.
The fire was put under control by 2:15 a.m. The blaze started on the second floor of the building.

A 24-year-old and 26-year-old woman were taken toKings County Hospital in critical condition. Three others suffered minor injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by FDNY fire marshals.
