Alternate-Side Parking Rules Suspended Until Friday

The city will suspend alternate-side parking rules until Friday to help with snow cleanup after a storm dumped nearly 14 inches of snow.

NEW YORK CITY, NY — The city continued to suspend alternate-side parking rules until Friday after Wednesday's storm dump nearly 14 inches of snow in some neighborhoods.

The Department of Transportation announced that it continued the suspension of the rules, which were previously halted for Wednesday and Thursday, to help with the cleanup of snow around the city.

Parking meters will still be in effect during those times so you'll still need to feed the meter, according to the city.
