BK Driver Dies After Losing Control Of Car, Hitting Pedestrians: NYPD
A 71-year-old Brooklyn driver "lost control" of his vehicle and rammed into two pedestrians in Queens Thursday, police said.

BROOKLYN, NY — A Brooklyn driver died after he lost control of his car and rammed into two pedestrians in Queens, police said Friday.
Ivelaw Yearwood, 71, of Brooklyn was driving northbound on 20th Avenue about 3:15 p.m. Thursday when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into two women on the sidewalk near the Whitestone Expressway, according to the NYPD.
The two women, age 66 and 23, were rushed to an area hospital in stable condition, police said.

The driver was also rushed to an area hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Police continued to investigate Friday.
