BROOKLYN, NY — Brooklyn residents were shaken after police uncovered human remains stuffed in trash bags outside a local apartment building, and this weekend, a Brooklyn man was arrested and charged in connection with the crime.

Authorities charged Christopher Moss, 38, with concealment of a human corpse on Sunday afternoon, after officers responding to a 911 call Friday morning found an unconscious, unresponsive man outside 557 East 21st Street in Flatbush.

The victim, who has not yet been identified, had visible signs of trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said. According to police, Moss lives at the address where the body was found, though his relationship to the victim remains unclear.
