Here are the top stories today in Brooklyn:

  1. A Borough Park hose fire left three people, including two firefighters, injured on Friday night. The fire broke out at approximately 9 p.m. at 4301 10th Ave., and the FDNY worked to get the blaze under control. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. (WABC-TV)
  2. A motorcyclist was left in critical condition after he crashed into a gray Jeep Patriot in Bensonhurst. Just after 4 p.m., the 26-year-old was thrown from his vehicle and suffered serious head and body trauma. The 64-year-old driver of the Jeep stayed at the scene, and was arrested for driving with a suspended license. (MSN)
  3. Brooklyn-based coffee chain Blank Street is set to open two eco-friendly coffee carts in Prospect Park. The first battery powered cart will open on April 25 near Bartel-Pritchard Square. Both carts will serve coffee, tea, pastries, as well as tacos in partnership with King David Tacos. (Patch)
