12-Year-Old Arrested After Bringing Gun To NYC School, Police Say

BROOKLYN, NY — A 12-year-old boy was arrested after bringing a gun to a Brooklyn middle school on Monday, police said.

The incident happened at Middle School 577 Conselyea Preparatory School in Williamsburg around 10:30 a.m., police said.

The gun was found inside the boy's backpack. The gun was not loaded, police said.
