Here are the top stories in Brooklyn today:

  1. A 12-year-old boy was struck in a hit-and-run incident on Monday morning in Bushwick. Police said that the black or gray Chevrolet truck struck the boy's leg as it made a left turn onto Bleecker Street. The boy was treated for minor leg injuries as the suspect fled the scene. (Audacy)
  2. An MTA conductor was punched and slashed with a sharp object after she had asked a man to stop smoking on her train. The incident occurred on a southbound F train near the Church Avenue station on March 19, and police are still searching for the suspect. The victim was treated for minor injuries at a local hospital, where she required stitches for her cuts. (NBC New York)
  3. More than 200 local artists participated in the latest Arts Gowanus exhibit “Brooklyn Utopias: Along the Canal," which opened this past weekend. A collection of paintings, drawings, photographs and sculptures, all done by local artists, were revealed during the two-day celebration.
