Coney Island Shooting Injures 5 People: Report
One man is in critical condition and the other four are stable after an overnight shooting on the boardwalk, according to CNN.
BROOKLYN, NY — New York police say five people were injured in a shooting on the Coney Island boardwalk early Sunday, according to a report from CNN.
Three men and two women were shot around 2 a.m. Sunday while a large crowd was gathered at the boardwalk near the popular amusement area. Police say a 31-year-old man who was shot in the back is in critical condition, according to the report.
The other four victims are in stable condition and range in age from 19 to 36. Police are trying to identify a suspect in the shooting.
