BROOKLYN, NY — A construction worker was killed after a rooftop wall collapsed on him at a building in Brooklyn Tuesday afternoon, police said.

The incident happened at 224 Highland Boulevard in Cypress Hills around 2:50 p.m., police said.

According to police, the 58-year-old man was doing work at the building when a brick parapet collapsed on top of him.

Officers found the man unresponsive after the collapse. He was taken to Brookdale Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
