Construction Worker Killed After Wall Collaspe At NYC Building: What We Know

BROOKLYN, NY — A construction worker was killed after a rooftop wall collapsed on him at a building in Brooklyn Tuesday afternoon, police said.

The incident happened at 224 Highland Boulevard in Cypress Hills around 2:50 p.m., police said.

According to police, the 58-year-old man was doing work at the building when a brick parapet collapsed on top of him.

Officers found the man unresponsive after the collapse. He was taken to Brookdale Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Additional details into the incident has not been disclosed.

The man's identity has not been released yet pending family notification.

An investigation remains ongoing.
