Cop Who Punched, Choked Girlfriend Arrested In BK: Report, NYPD
An NYPD officer faces strangulation and assault charges after his arrest in Brooklyn, police said.

BROOKLYN, NY — An NYPD officer accused of punching and choking his girlfriend was arrested in Brooklyn over the weekend, according to police and a report.
Travis Grant, 30, pleaded not guilty to strangulation and assault charges related to two off-duty incidents before his arrest in Brooklyn's 69th Precinct, according to police and the Daily News.
Grant's girlfriend told police the cop punched her in the face and attacked her in another instance, according to the Daily News.

Grant is currently assigned to Park Slope's 78th Precinct and has worked at the department since 2016, city records show.
Just last week, an NYPD detective was arrested in Queens after he was accused of punching his neighbor.
